Heather Kassman, Registered Psychotherapist
I believe everyone has the ability to make changes that improve their life. Sometimes you just need extra support and guidance to get there. I take a comprehensive approach to therapy, working with clients to find the best fit. There is not "one quick fix" that works for every person. Clients have described me as empathetic, insightful, humorous and resourceful.
After 25 years of experience, I am still as passionate as I was on my first day. I work with teens and adults, addressing a variety of issues, such as: anxiety, career/college, confidence & self-worth, healthy/unhealthy relationships, LGBTQ, parent/teen relationships, self-care, self-harm, and survivors of harassment & abuse.
I have lived in the Conifer/Evergreen area for 26 years, and worked in a number of different settings. Beyond my counseling practice, I am also a speaker and educator for various non-profits and universities. I have helped develop sustainable programs with K-12 schools addressing such issues as bullying, healthy relationships, and sexual harassment & assault. I am especially proud to have co-created a successful local high school Peer Counseling program where I provide training and support for juniors and seniors in the program.
